www.dpoperators.org  is operated by the International Dynamic Positioning Operators Association (IDPOA) and is made available to you on the following terms and conditions. By using this site and the services available on it you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions and any other terms and conditions and policies published on the site. We may change these terms or alter the design, content, functionality and specification of the site at any time. You agree to review the terms and conditions of this Agreement periodically to be aware of such revisions. Additionally, your continued use of the Web Site and/or Services after the posting of any notice of a change in the terms and conditions shall constitute your acceptance to be bound by any such changes.

These are the terms and conditions which apply between IDPOA, any of its associated, affiliated or joint venture companies, organisations or websites and members (“You”) making use of its services. These terms and conditions are supplemented by IDPOA’s Privacy Policy and Website Use Terms and Conditions.

Job Seeker Registration

Your successful registration and continued membership  of IDPOA will be dependent upon Your strict adherence to the following conditions;

You agree to use the site for lawful purposes only

You are 16 years or older when registering with the Website

You agree not to post or transmit any information through the Website which infringes the rights of, or violates the privacy of others

You agree not to post or transmit any information through the Website which is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, libellous, vulgar, obscene, profane, indecent or otherwise objectionable.

You will not use the Website for any non-personal or commercial purposes

Your Resume and Personal Profile

By creating a personal profile or resume on this website or uploading an existing CV which may include a digital image of yourself, You hereby grant to IDPOA a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to disclose such information, including any personally identifying information contained therein, to potential recruiters registered with this Website.

Vacancy Advertisements

Vacancy adverts are posted by registered recruiters members directly onto the Website. We cannot guarantee that vacancy advertisements will be reviewed by Us. We accept no responsibility or liability for the contents of such advertisements. You should carry out such verification procedures as are prudent. If You consider any vacancy or other information contained on the site to be illegal, discriminatory or otherwise offensive, please bring it to Our attention as quickly as possible whereupon We shall investigate and remove the material as appropriate.

Recruiter's Terms And Conditions

Preamble
By registering for a Recruiter Corporate Account, You confirm that You are authorised to subscribe to this service on behalf of Your Company and that Your Company agrees to pay the membership fees in force at the time of booking.

Companies with branch offices at different geographical locations are required to set up separate User Accounts for each office.

IDPOA reserves the right to carry out all reasonable checks, before authorising your access to any services available on the Website.

Once Your user access is authorised We will grant Your Company a limited, non-exclusive, non-assignable and non-transferable license to access and use the Recruiter ’s Corporate Member’s area within The Website. This license is expressly conditioned upon Your agreement that all such access and use shall be governed by all of the terms and conditions set forth in this User Agreement and more particularly this the Recruiters section.

Password and Registration
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information supplied and for the security of your logon details.

The Logon details provided for you to access non-public areas of the Website are issued on a single user basis and may not be shared or transferred to any other individual or organisation without our express consent.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Logon details and agree to notify us of any unauthorised use of such details.

You shall be responsible for all activities carried out under Your User Account, whether or not authorised by You.

On line advertising
You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations and ensure that any content uploaded onto the site does not infringe the rights of others.

We reserve the right to amend or remove any vacancies that appear to be discriminatory or in breach of any applicable laws or regulations.

In order to maintain the accuracy of available vacancies you agree to remove any vacancies for which applications are no longer being sought.

Disclaimer
Use of the Website is at your own risk and you are advised to carry out all reasonable checks as to the reliability of information supplied by agencies and job seekers before entering into any contractual agreements.

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate the User Account of any individual or organisation due to breaches of the terms governing Your use of the Website.

Complaints procedure
We expect registered members and users of this Website to conduct their activities in a professional manner and We will not tolerate behaviour that causes inconvenience or offence to others or undermines the integrity of this service.

We will investigate all complaints notified to us and take action accordingly.  All complaints should be submitted to enquiries@dpoperators.org and include your full details of the problem you have experienced with a registered user of this service.

If, on investigation we find that the complaint can be substantiated, we will immediately terminate the offending party’s use of this service.

Payment for services
Payment is required for the provision of Our online services, as outlined in our membership rates. These charges will be those in force at the time of booking and may vary from time to time with immediate effect. VAT will be charged, in addition, where applicable.

Invoices are required to be settled, in full, on receipt. As per the "Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 2002", Interest will be charged on overdue accounts at 8% above the Bank of England Base Rate.

Refund Policy
In the event of this web site service being discontinued indefinitely, a refund will be payable pro-rata to the period outstanding on your active membership. This does not apply where your organisation makes the decision to cancel your User Account. Nor does it apply to User Accounts that are terminated due to breaches of our terms and conditions. Any other refunds are at the discretion of IDPOA.

Privacy Statement

Use of Your Work Email Address
If you register using a company email address, please ensure that it is secure (i.e. you know who is able to view your inbox). We cannot accept responsibility if your emails are read by colleagues or superiors at work. If your email address is not secure, we would recommend that you obtain a free email address from www.hotmail.com or www.yahoo.com

Confidentiality
We understand the importance of maintaining your confidentiality; we will respect your privacy and will comply with our obligations under relevant Data Protection legislation.

Who Can View Your Resume?
When you complete your IDPOA profile and Resume they will be stored online and made available to Corporate Recruiter Members registered with IDPOA when you elect to be “available for employment”. Unless you elect to remain anonymous all of your personal details will be accessible to the prospective recruiters. Please note if you upload your own CV to our site we are unable to cloak any information and thereby guarantee your anonymity if so requested.

What Vacancy Information Will You Receive?
When electing to be “available for employment” recruiters searching for suitable candidates for their positions will be able to contact you to establish whether you have an interest in their vacancy. When you elect to be “unavailable for work” your details will not be accessible by recruiters and you will receive no such enquiries from prospective recruiters.

Registration details
Contact and other details you supply as part of the registration process are stored by us and used to provide you with the information you have requested.

Completing IDPOA’s Jobseeker Registration Form
You should be realistic about the personal profile and resume you create when completing the lists of skills, experience and qualifications.

Please ensure you keep your personal profile, resume, CV and contact details up to date to avoid needless enquiries.

Use of Data Held by IDPOA
IDPOA may use collected data to identify and publish employment trends such as salary averages and industry demographics. This information will not be capable of being linked to any personally identifying information about users.

Removal of Your Profile, Resume and CV From Our Database
Please note that IDPOA reserves the right not to register you on our database and to remove from our database CVs which include any content that we consider to be illegal or offensive or factually incorrect.

Cookies
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by us on your computer which enable us to identify your computer when you access IDPOA. The cookies we use also protect the integrity of registered user names and passwords. There is no personally identifiable information held on cookies.

Statistical information
We provide aggregate statistical information about site visitors and users such as the number of CVs on our database and the number of visitors to the site. We provide this information to our corporate members and other reputable third parties. This will not include any information that enables them to identify individuals.
