IMCA ON DP JACK UPS

An increasing number of members of the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) are involved with the offshore renewables sector and for this reason the association has published ā€˜Guidance for the Positioning of Dynamically Positioned (DP) Jack-up Vessels on and off the Seabedā€ (IMCA M223) and an updated version of their information note ‘Inspection and Auditing of Manned and Unmanned Barges’. Both are aimed at ensuring and enhancing offshore safety.

WIND FARM DEAL DONE

Fred. Olsen Windcarrier International Ltd, which is indirectly owned 50/50 by Bonheur ASA and Ganger Rolf ASA, has been awarded a contract by the German company BARD Engineering GmbH for installation work of turbines and associated equipment at the “Bard Offshore 1″ wind farm in German territorial waters.

STABLE OUTPUT
