Permanent 0.5 FTE position

Up to £33,087 pro-rata per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)

Due to the retirement of a long serving member of our team, we are looking for a professional and highly motivated person to contribute to the delivery and development of a range of Merchant Navy and Offshore training programmes with a focus on our well established Dynamic Positioning training courses.

The successful applicant will have:

• a professional Merchant Navy Qualification (Master Mariner Unlimited or Chief Mate Unlimited)
• recent sea going and maritime experience
• extensive experience as a Dynamic Positioning Operator
• experience of Kongsberg Dynamic Positioning Systems
• a Nautical Institute DPO Certificate
• membership of the Nautical Institute
• a commitment to obtaining a teaching qualification
